These data were collected by students at California State University - San Bernardio in Spring 2024.
Beetles were reared on black-eyed peas or hyancinth beans and collected from mass culture. Beetles were of mixed sex. Beetles from BEP (N=6) and hyancinth bean (N=6) were collected.  Negative control data were subtracted from the sample data.
Beetles were non-virgins.
Beetles were adults.
Beetles were from the LB strain reared on their respective hosts for multiple generations.
Beetles were surface-sterilized.
Beetles were extracted with QIAGEN DNA-Easy kits.
