In order to get familiar with the research on physiology and neuroscience related to bruchid beetles, we ask each participant to contribute two references to our bean beetle literature database for physiology and neuroscience. The references do not need to be on Callosobruchus maculatus or even on the genus Callosobruchus, but they should be on a species within the family Bruchidae.

You can find the database at http://www.beanbeetles.org/network/ref/. Each of you has an account for accessing the database to add new references. To login, use your email address and the password "beanbeetle". You can change the password once you login. Once you login, you can add references by clicking on "Add Record" at the top and entering the information manually. Alternatively (and preferably), you can click on "Import" and put either the PubMed ID (PMID) or DOI for the reference in the "Import IDs" field and click Import. This will automatically import all of the necessary information. Before adding a reference to the database, please make sure that it isn't already there.
